We're a Pentecostal Church.

Come for a refreshing, sure APPROACH to knowing your place with god

Preaching Ministry

"...How shall they hear without a preacher?" Romans 10:14 shares the need for preaching in the Christian's life. Striving for excellence in every service, we preach the Bible. God's presence is powerfully felt as His truths are expounded and received.

Preaching is not an afterthought here. Here are the essential doctrines of the Bible.

Music Ministry

Praise and worship is an exciting time at the GAP Church. As we thank God for all He has done please join us. Hopefully you will also be reminded of the blessings in your own life.

Our pastor's wife is a widely celebrated singer who you will enjoy and are welcome to join this Sunday!

Sunday School

Our kids are precious! What could be better than connecting them to the God who loves them? Jesus said to let the little children come to Him, and still today we are introducing the "little ones" to their Savior.

Please also know that we  have Adult Sunday School, which disciples us closer to God. We all need teaching as well as preaching.

All we have to do is look at our world to know that we are living in the last days before the Lord's return.  We know also that, according to  2 Timothy 3:1, that we are living in perilous times.  That there is in our midst a form of godliness but one that denies the genuine power of God to save.  "Church" in form only but not in substance.  It is my heart to strive against the spirit and mindset of our times; the goal being to press past "form only" and into the doctrines and thus experience of the first church we read about in the book of Acts.  The preaching of the Apostles is still the message of salvation for us today.  Come to Greater Anchorage Pentecostal Church and experience Acts 2:38 salvation.  There is no other message by which we can be saved.  God bless you richly is our only agenda.  Please contact us for personal Bible study sessions with one of our study teams.  email:  pastor.springer@gmail.com or call 907-337-4377 and leave a message.

GAP Church preaches, teaches and lives the whole Bible. The foundation for all of our beliefs and lifestyle is built on explicit passages of the Bible or on strong biblical principles. From scripture we know the following . . .

Fundamental Doctrines

The basic and fundamental doctrine of GAP Church is the Bible standard of full salvation, which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. (Acts 2:38, 10, 19, etc.)

About the Bible

The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living. (See II Timothy 3:15-17.)

About God

There is one God, who has revealed Himself through the incarnation. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both fully God and genuinely man. (See Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16.)

About Sin and Salvation

Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ and obedience to the scriptures. (See Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9.)

About the Gospel

The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (II Thessalonians 1:8; I Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection). (See I Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4.)

About Christian Living

As Christians we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today. (See Mark 12:28-31; II Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; I Corinthians 12:8-10.)

About the Future

Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death. (See I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15.)
